A New Davis Family Tradition...

Today our family went to a Christmas tree farm called "Devine Acres". We saw what we expected...rows of trees to cut and purchase. However, we also saw some things we didn't expect. They had a pit for roasting marshmallows, and games like horseshoes and washers set up. There were pens of goats, chickens and rabbits. We even saw a pot-bellied pig! I don't think that they had it open, but there was also a pond for "catch and release" fishing. Needless to say, it was well worth the hour drive. The kids had a blast and it was nice to be out in the crisp, cool outdoors. On the drive home Emily proclaimed that "We need to do this every year!" We might just do that.
